If you wish to contact any of my references, please let me know and I will organise this for you.
Below are references where I have provided voluntary dog walking services:-
REFERENCE: Julie Creswell (dated December 2016)
Julie came to my rescue after she replied to an appeal on the Cinnamon Trust Facebook page in January 2016. I have health issues and unable to walk my Jack Russell called Muff.
Julie turns up every Sunday afternoon to collect Muff and walks him to an open but secure field where Muff is entertained with a tennis ball. Muff is a fast little runner and never appears to wear out of energy. I’ve been shown video clips and photos of Muff’s walking and playing activities and I am pleased Muff is enjoying himself outside in the fresh air.
Every Sunday Muff sits and waits for Julie on the arm of my sofa. He somehow knows she will be turning up. Muff greets Julie with lots of jumping with excitement. He just can’t wait for his walk.
On return Julie pops in to have a chat and a catchup. I am very grateful she spares the time to come into my home as it’s nice to be able to talk to someone. Muff tends to play up a little as he wants all her attention. He likes to show off in front her. He doesn’t settle until Julie has gone home.
Whenever Julie goes on holiday she lets me know well in advance.
I am very grateful that Julie can provide Muff with a much needed walk on a weekly basis. She is very kind and reliable and I would recommend Julie for her dog walking services.

Julie began a wonderful relationship with my neighbours dog Cindy two years ago.
My contact with Julie was through the Cinnamon Trust.
The highlight of Cindy’s week is when Julie arrives at the care home, where Cindy is fortunate enough to remain with her owner.
Sunday afternoons are a special time for Cindy and Julie.
Julie is dedicated, devoted, compassionate, trustworthy and extremely responsible.
Julie has never let Cindy down, and if she has a holiday booked I will get plenty of notice from her so that we can make alternative arrangements.
I can highly recommend Julie to walk any dog.
She is diligent about the care and needs of each and every dog.
Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any queries.
Louise Campbell.

To whom it may concern:
I’ve known Julie Creswell since I needed help with my two spaniel dogs, which was last summer, 2015. She responded to my request for help, via a dog walking website. This site is part of the “sharing” and voluntary sector, matching dog owners who need occasional help with dog walking with volunteers who, for whatever reason, love dogs, but cannot have a dog themselves.
In my own case, I have had extensive and prolonged surgery for my ankle, since 2014. First of all Julie responded in a very professional way, to my request for help, by assuring me that she already walked dogs for two other elderly owners, as part of the Cinnamon Trust (another voluntary organisation) and that she was CRB checked and verified. She provided references and we exchanged mobile phone numbers, in order to facilitate meeting up locally so that she could meet my dogs and see if they would all get along.
She was punctual and polite; my dogs responded well to her, although my older dog was reluctant to leave my side initially. We worked on this reluctance together, to come up with a plan to gain Amber’s trust. This happened relatively quickly and so we continued to follow proper procedure, in signing a letter and a copy to allow Julie to let my dogs off the lead. Actually, I never had a doubt that this would be fine, as Julie is very trustworthy and my dogs love being out with her. However, I also appreciated following proper procedure and this only increased my trust of Julie and the extent to which I relax when she comes to help me out. Everyone seems to be benefiting from our new found dog walking arrangement.
She is always on time, and always lets me know if there is a problem. She is easy to talk to and conscientious. To see her stress levels drop over the course of being made redundant from her former employment and her enthusiasm to forge a new path as a self-employed person, has been a joy. She really is such a nice lady. She is what I would call a “proper person” who has integrity and a sense of appreciation for Life that is seldom found these days. My husband and I recently accepted her invitation to a classic car rally, organised by Julie’s and her friend. It was really impressive! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were very impressed with the fun and friendly atmosphere and also the number of car owners and motorbike owners supporting the event. I know that Julie is also involved in a rock and roll activity, and I wish her all the very best of success with whatever she decides to do next.
